What are Honest drinks?
Honest is part drinks manufacturer, part social enterprise. Our mission is to make drinks full of delicious, sustainably-sourced, organic ingredients. We currently have three product ranges in the UK: Honest Kids, Honest Coffee and Honest Lemonade. For more on each range, click here.
Where can I buy Honest drinks?
You’ll find Honest Kids in selected Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons, Asda and Co-Op stores. Honest Coffee and Honest Lemonade are available in selected stores and retailers. Watch this space, though… we’re always growing our portfolio and list of distributors.
Why does Honest use organic ingredients?
Organic ingredients are grown without any chemicals, artificial preservatives, pesticides, or genetic modification. In the words of our organic certifier, the Soil Association, organic produce is “food as it should be”. Read more about the benefits of using organic produce here.
Who certifies your organic drinks?
Honest is certified organic by the Soil Association, the UK's leading food and farming charity and organic certification body. You can read more about the great work they do and what it takes to be certified by them here.
Do your products contain genetically modified produce?
Our drinks don’t contain any genetically modified organisms (or GMOs). As part of our organic certification, we’re not allowed to include anything non-organic in our products… not that we’d want to, anyway!
Do your beverages contain gluten or any common allergens?
None of our beverages contain gluten. They’re also free from soya, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, crustacea, molluscs, eggs, mustard, celery, lupin and sulphur dioxide. If you want to ask us about a specific ingredient, please drop us an email on email@example.com or call us on 0800 227711.
I can’t find my favourite Honest product on the shop shelves. Where can I get it from?
Check with your store manager to find out if they stock, or plan to stock, your flavour variant. If they don’t, ask them to consider it! Failing that, you can get in touch with us and we’ll help you locate your favourite Honest drink. You can either drop us an email firstname.lastname@example.org, call us on 0800 227711 or drop us a message over on Instagram
Is Honest owned by Coca-Cola?
In 2008, Coca-Cola made an investment in Honest to help us expand our distribution. In 2011, it bought Honest. Thanks to its input, we’ve been able to expand from about 15,000 retail outlets in the US to more than 100,000. As a result, we’ve been able to boost the organic farming industry with our expanding business and introduce great-tasting organic drinks to more shoppers!
Where do you source your ingredients from?
We’re committed to building a business that’s sustainable, organic, delicious and fair for everyone involved, from the farmers who supply our ingredients to the customers who drink the final product. To find the very best organic produce, we work with farmers from all over the world, from the Blue Mountains of Southern India to the lush, green foothills of Bavaria. We’re pretty proud of where our ingredients have come from, so we’ve created an interactive map to tell the story behind each and every one. Find it here.
Why does my Honest drink look cloudy or separated?
Because we only use organic ingredients in our drinks, some natural separation and fading can occur. But don’t worry, they’ll still have the same refreshing taste. Just give the bottle a shake before serving to mix everything up and make it glorious.
How should I best enjoy my Honest drink?
All our drinks are best served cold, straight from the fridge. Simply give them a quick shake and pour, or sip straight from the bottle. Enjoy!
What does Honest make its packaging from, and how should I dispose of it?
At Honest, saving the planet is a key part of our business, so we created the PlantBottle™ to make sure our packaging was as environmentally-friendly as possible. It’s made from recycled plastic and renewable plant material derived from sugar cane. The whole thing’s recyclable, so you can keep the cycle going and the world happy.
